Every department or production site has an individual integration procedure to help new recruits to take up their positions and ensure their assignments run smoothly.
Our managers are involved in a specific support programme prior to assumption of duties to encourage collaboration with future teams. This programme is conducted in the three months following integration to enable our managers to identify measures to implement to ensure our staff member succeed and flourish.
Annual appraisal: assess targets and skills, discuss training and development goals, review personal/work life balance, accordance with our values etc.
Careers Committee: review development goals, implement a progress pathway, define potential needs, forecast resource requirements etc.

The role of the quality department is to implement the company’s quality policy throughout our business. It ensures that rules are followed on a daily basis with a real sense of practicality and fieldwork. Attention-to-detail and professionalism ensure products are in line with regulatory specifications. Our excellence in this area needs no introduction.
Research and Development has always been part of our innovation strategy. We invest heavily in it and design new products and services to meet constantly changing market needs. To inspire ideas and innovative concepts, we rely on our consultants’ wide variety of skills who strive to improve performance.
The supply chain department is a key performance driver for Cérélia . It aims to provide quality customer service and cost optimisation. Logistics play a vital role in ensuring the supply chain is in line with customer demand. The ability to coordinate and handle procedures and information is essential when flows need to be managed.
The maintenance department works to update resources required for production. Its technical staff work in equipment maintenance and safety. Their role is to ensure these systems work properly and are in line with safety regulations. Preventing breakdowns, improving performance...it’s a vital role as the challenges are so important.
From growing wheat to selling the product in-store, the production department covers all the processing and packaging areas involved. Its role is to package and ensure the quality of the pastry in line not only with quantity and quality targets but also regulations regarding hygiene, quality, safety, personal safety and the environment. Expertise, attention to detail and teamwork are just some of the skills required to uphold the standard of our excellent products.
